Sponsors' update
June 2023

More birthdays over here, and party time in the catio!

Otis and Jimmy's 1st birthday!

The brothers celebrated leaving kittenhood behind, and had a great party, outdoors in the catio.

Lily insisted on singing 'Happy Birthday' to her brothers from another mother.

Some moths even turned up especially, to provide entertainment for the party.

There were snacks and treats for all (and there's always one who overindulges!)

Louis is still on daily meds, but is doing well.  He doesn't use the catio that much, and has a choice of sleep spots indoors.

He still loves his sofa snuggle time with his Aunty Poppy though.

as well as watching scary films with staff.

We had a lovely update photo of Lucky... looking very relaxed in the garden of his forever home .

He is now about 10 shades whiter than when he first arrived here, after years of living rough!

and we also had an update photo of Freddie and Taylor - brother and sister who were adopted back in February.

They've settled in really well at their forever home, and are as close as ever.

and Mr Thom has been loving all this good weather we've been having... spending quality time out in his catio (and in his favourite snoozing box).

Amber is still patiently waiting for a forever home.

She is much more confident and happy than when she first arrived, and is such a sweet, purry girl.

We know she will make someone a lovely furry companion.

Until then, she is enjoying the relaxed atmosphere here (well, when certain little ginger whirlwinds don't 'break into' her room)...

yep.. George.  That's you we're talking about.

George loves to go into Amber's room, to say hello, and to play with her toys (even though he has pretty much exactly the same toys in his own room.

George has been reserved for adoption now, but is with us for a couple more weeks, so we have time to get lots more cuddles in, which he loves.

Recently, we had a temporary lodger.

This handsome tabby is a regular visitor to our garden, where he has a stroll through, a nosey peek at the catios, or a snooze in the bushes.

He has even been spotted paying a visit to our little George... at the upstairs window!

(George was delighted, and really wanted him to come in for a play!!)

We noticed that this uncollared cat hadn't been neutered, and asked around, to check whether or not he was owned.  We managed to trace his owner, who told us they had not been, and were still not, in a position to arrange this themselves.

We offered some practical help to get this done for this lovely tabby boy... which would involve a short stay at ours and us taking him to the vets.

We found out his name is Theo and he is 2.5 years of age.

Theo (mostly) enjoyed his stay with us; having a relaxing lounge in the indoor area of his pen, and enjoying some tasty treats.

After his neuter, and a period of recovery, Theo is now back home.

We are happy to have helped make this happen for Theo, as it will improve his quality of life; reducing the chances of him getting into fights and sustaining injuries or worse (not to mention lessening the fathering of unplanned babies in the area)!

Carla isn't as keen on Theo's visits as George is, but she has learned to ignore him and concentrate on the important things in life.

Rolling around the grass and dirt in the sunshine.

Choosing a nice shady spot in her new catio when the sun is too strong

and, of course, the essential CritterWatch...
